My personal philosophy in photography is to capture the moment. There are times in our lives when beauty unfolds before us and is gone in an instant. It is this fragile moment that inspires me.

In shooting events and weddings it is especially important to understand what beauty and inspiration mean to the client. I work with you to understand what you find beautiful. In capturing the moments that will last a lifetime I believe it is so very important to see an event as the client would see it.

It is for this reason that my work is ultimately flexible and creative in its approach to photograph your event. I seek to find inspiration in the moments that you would find beautiful.

My photographic style attempts to capture the personality of its subjects and uses color to emphasize mood. I believe in using natural light as much as possible. I am captivated by images that use natural light to capture movement, awe, ambiance, and character.

As an artist I paint with light.

I approach photography with a contemporary and modern eye, however, I am always aware of the deep tradition that accompanies photography. I use that tradition to create photographs that will speak to you across time.
